The world’s best mountain films are coming to Tbilisi!
The Transcaucasian Trail NGO of Georgia is excited to bring the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour to Tbilisi on September 28, 2019. Proceeds from the event will support the development of the Transcaucasian Trail in Georgia.
Get ready for a night of exciting, thought-provoking, and inspiring stories from the world’s most prestigious international competition of short films and documentaries about mountain environments, sports, and cultures. Hundreds of films are entered into the competition each year, and 80 are selected for the week-long festival at Banff each fall. We have hand-picked over two hours of programming from the best of these films to show in Tbilisi.
The event will be a gathering of mountain lovers from around the Caucasus for a night of movies, gear give-aways, and other mountain-related fun in an atmospheric outdoor theater in Vake Park.
