Calling All Pioneering Hikers & Explorers!

If you’re an expedition-level hiker with a ton of experience, and you want to put your skills to the test with the most pioneering element of the Transcaucasian Trail project, we’d love to hear from you.

Long before we build any trails, our work on the ground involves exploring and mapping remote and uncharted areas of the Caucasus in search of routes that could be developed as part of the future route of the Transcaucasian Trail. This is where the global community of explorers and expeditioners has a key role to play in the project.

Is this you? Are you competent and willing to lead expedition-level trekking excursions in wild backcountry with limited maps and information? Are you ML/IML (or equivalent) trained and qualified? Do you have considerable experience of self-sufficient hiking expeditions in multiple countries?

Our team on the ground can offer a certain level of planning and logistical support, and we can train you in the kind of data that needs to be collected. After that, it’ll be up to you – but you’ll be right on the bleeding edge of the project.

If this sounds like your kind of thing, please get in touch with our Explorer-in-Chief Tom Allen using the form below.
