Nice one Tom. Sounds like a great idea. Coincidentally I’m doing a hike around Armenia at the moment. Made it from Yerevan to Gyumri the last 2 weeks and now I’m heading up to Lake Arpi. (Mainly because I’ve never heard anything about it.) I met the wife once in Yerevan when I was giving a talk about my own cycling adventures around Armenia.I’ll be back in Yerevan around May 15th. If you’re around lets meet. I’d love to help. Also if you haven’t heard about it look into OneArmenia. They’re currently developing a hike Armenia phone app and they have funding and you could possibly help each other. Best of luck on your project and get in touch if you need any help. I know the roads and villages well. All the best.

Fantastic project Tom; sounds like a really worth while, enjoyable plan of action and I wish you and your friends every success.

Trouble is, as you know, you will have trouble getting me off my trusty folder and it doesn’t sound as though the trail will be bike friendly!

I’ll be watching you! Cheers from Keswick.
